Wall-coverings from this collection are playing with shine of mica – a mineral formed as a result of chemical reaction of quartz and granite. At high temperatures mica extends be 20-30 times, forming vermiculite — extended shining fragments. This quality of mica has been known in Japan for six centuries. After processing by temperature vermiculate is dissolved into small pieces which are glued on a nonwoven basis and subsequently painted. The structure of wall-coverings consists of various variants of gluing of mica: large and small minerals are scattered on the surfaces, creating a relief; or pressed, similar to scales. Various shades underline unique shine of this natural material.
