Plaster decoration
The use of plaster in interior decoration dates back into antiquity. Ruins of any ancient secular or cult constructions are full of examples of various plaster decorations.
Since then historical epochs and art styles replaced one another and plaster decor changed accordingly; sometimes it had leading positions, sometimes it was undermined by other materials, but it was always present in architecture and interiors.
