Our special fresco
Babilonia work-shop artists can create frescoes following you sketches or photo.
As an example we would like to tell you the story of the fresco from our main office.
There was an idea to create the image of the main building of the Moscow State University on Vorobevy Mountains in 50th-60th of the last century on one of the walls.
We made a picture of the Moscow State University.
Then we’ve found an old black-and-white picture of “Volga” GAZ 21 (produced in 1959).
After that we’ve send both pictures to the Babilonia work-shop by e-mail. We asked them to “clean” all the modern cars from the picture and to place the picture of an old “Volga” there. Thus, the image in retro-style came out.
After the concordance of the future fresco the Italian artists started to paint a sketch. With some corrective amendments the sketch has been approved, and the artists have started to work.
Two-three weeks later we have received a photo of a ready fresco on a wall in a workshop of the artist. If necessary, it is possible to make some changes before carrying the fresco from the wall to a canvas (to change color, to add or retouch some details). After our approval the fresco has been removed from the wall and prepared for being sent to Moscow.
A week later we received our fresco and now it is decorating one of the walls in our office.
