Instruction for mounting
How to choose the power unit of necessary capacity.
Power units for a light-emitting diode tape are produced with various capacities from 6 to 400 Watt. Power consumption of one meter of a tape depends on its type
The feed source is chosen with allowance for the total power consumed by the tape. The consumed power is computed as follows: the length of the tape is multiplied by the consumed power per 1 meter, W/m
Attention.
When calculating it is necessary to consider the fact, that the capacity of the power supply should be 20% higher than the expected level.

Connecting of power unit to the 220V network
In order to connect the power unit it is necessary to have a 220-V socket at the place required. The power unit is connected to the 220-V network by two conductors with L and N terminals indicated on the power unit.
Connecting the monochrome light-emitting diode tape to the power unit
To connect the monochrome light-emitting diode tape to the power unit is made directly by wires (connector) located on the tape Each conductor on the tape has its own designation "+" or «-» on the current-conducting track. Connection to the power unit is performed in accordance with the polarity to contacts +V and -V on the power unit. The length of one light-emitting diode tape is 5 meters.
Attention.
Additional tape should be connected to the power unit in parallel by a separate wire. It is not possible to connect 5 meter-long tapes sequentially in one line!
Connecting the multicolor light-emitting diode tape with the help of controller
To control the multicolor light-emitting diode tape you need to use light-emitting diode controllers. It is connected directly to the power unit through two conductors according to the polarity. Connect +V on the unit to +V on the controller and -V on the unit to -V on the controller, respectively.
